How Best of the Month Works
It’s simple: the first week of the month, two polls will be available for voting, one with the art from the previous month, and one with literature. At the end of the seventh day, the polls will close and we will announce the Best of the Month!
Which Pieces get voted on for Best of the Month?
All the literature and art from the previous month! For example, from February 1st to February 7th, polls will be open containing every literature and art piece published in January.
Who Votes For Best of the Month?
Anyone and everyone! The polls are open to the public, so anyone can access our site and cast their vote. However, we only allow one vote per computer.
Best of the Month Prizes
Besides the knowledge that your piece was a reader favorite, your piece will be posted on the Best of the Month page with an author/artist statement written by you, discussing the inspiration for your piece. It will also be a contender in our Best of the Year competition during the last week of December.
